School Overview

Founded in 1961 by the Augustinian Fathers of the Province of St. Thomas of Villanova and located in Reading, MA, Austin Preparatory School is a Catholic Independent school in the Augustinian tradition serving young men and women in grades 6 through 12.

Program Highlights

Austin Preparatory School boasts many features, including a writing lab and center, updated science labs, a large library and media center, an 1,100-seat athletic stadium complex, a recently renovated fitness center, basketball court and theatre, and brand new state of the art dining hall.

With an average class size of 15 students, a student-to-teacher ratio of 10:1, and a 1:1 iPad program, the administration and faculty at Austin work tirelessly to foster an environment where young men and women develop as lifelong learners, are engaged citizens, and are equipped to succeed in life after Austin Prep 

In addition, Austin Prep also offers 20 Advanced Placement courses, 23 interscholastic athletic programs, and 75 clubs.
