What is Discover Catholic Schools In New England?

What is Discover Catholic Schools in New England (DCSNE)? It is an annual effort to encourage and inspire people to explore their local Catholic schools. During this special week in November, every diocese in New England celebrates Catholic Education and highlights the achievements of our schools. DCSNE focuses on enrollment, marketing, and encouraging new families to join the school community.

In addition, the Catholic Schools Office runs a DCSNE Art & Essay Contest. And this year, it will also include a category for High School Students, so every student can participate!

We will celebrate Discover Catholic Schools in New England November 3-9, 2019. We have excellent materials for schools, and leaders will receive them during the last week of September.

Let’s make it a successful awareness and promotion week!

Schools: Please send Sr. Barbara or Mariana Fontoura the date and time of your Open House so we can promote it on csoboston.org. Questions? Contact Sr. Barbara or Mariana.

Parents, Board Members, Interested Parties: Contact your favorite Catholic school to see how you can help during DCSNE! Perhaps you could: host a coffee hour for prospective families, design signage, distribute flyers, share dedicated posts on social media...every effort helps and is greatly appreciated!
