For students and families interested in attending a Catholic high school, we recommend that you take time to explore the websites of the various Catholic secondary schools and to reach out directly to the admissions offices at each school. Our admissions staffs at our Catholic high schools are eager to engage you and your family in conversations about what their schools can offer your child. In addition, many high schools in the Archdiocese of Boston encourage prospective students to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) as a way to gauge what class placement and scholarship needs your child may require. Schools throughout the Archdiocese administer the HSPT up to four times throughout the fall semester. Please contact the admissions office at the schools to which your child plans to apply to find out their specific HSPT requirements or dates for testing.
Please note that the High School Placement Test is only required for incoming 9th graders seeking to attend a Catholic High School.
