Why be an Archdiocese of Boston Catholic School Leader? Commitment to the Growth and Development of Administrators The Catholic Schools Office is deeply committed to the continued growth of school leaders who serve in the Archdiocese of Boston Catholic schools. Throughout the year, school leaders are encouraged to attend pertinent professional development opportunities at low or no cost to them. We believe that strong leadership equates to stronger schools, and that professional capacity and development is essential to creating this kind of strong network of schools. We, therefore, seek professionals with a deep yearning for the continued development of skill sets. Professional development opportunities vary from year to year, but always pertain to the needs our faculty face in the classroom at the current moment. Past opportunities have included: Advent Day of Retreat, Spiritual Retreat for new leaders. Programs such as Aspiring Leaders afford hopeful school leaders the opportunities to grow professionally and become Catholic School administrators. Contact Dan Roy for more information on these opportunities.
