Announcing the Winners of the 2020 Discover Catholic Schools Contest The Catholic Schools Office is excited to announce the winners of the 2020 Discover Catholic Schools in New England Contest. This annual contest is an opportunity for Catholic school students in the Archdiocese of Boston explore and explain their faith. See below for the parameters for this year's contest. CSO Enrollment Specialist Mariana Fontoura organized and led the contest. She said, "The contest was created in a way to show our students' hard work, their intimacy with God, and for them to have a fun time. It's always encouraging and brings us joy reading their submissions and realizing their commitment to the contest." Use any material crayons, color, watercolor Second and Third Grade Students: How receiving Jesus in Holy Communion changes us. Create a drawing or write an essay to tell us about Jesus. The essay must be at least two paragraphs long. Fourth to Eighth Grade Students: What happens in your heart when you receive Jesus in the Eucharist or adore Him in Eucharistic Adoration? Write an essay that describes what happens when you receive Jesus in Holy Communion or adore Him in the Most Blessed Sacrament at Eucharistic Adoration. What do you experience? How do you feel? Essays must be at least four paragraphs long. High School Students: How has the True Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist changed your life? How could you explain the True Presence of Jesus to a person who does not believe? Please participate by writing an essay or poem or by creating an audiovisual, painting, or song. Essays must be at least four paragraphs long.
